Sarbjit Jagpal |
|
| As you may be aware I was working for the Heart of Burton Partnership as a Neighbourhood Outreach Worker, within this role I worked with the young people in the HOB area to highlight their visions and concerns on the area they live in. I left the Heart of Burton Partnership to take up a fulltime post working with young people.
I decided to join the board as I felt there was a lack of representation of young people and services advocating for them. I feel it is very important to engage young people as they are our future. I have also seen the positive work that the Partnership has achieved and this has driven me to stay involved as a resident board member and help improve the area I live in. |
